It was my day off today so I dropped by the nearest showrooms to scout for hatchbacks.
The first hatchback I got to see was the Civic. The 3-door Type R was cool and it's reasonable for it to be 95 grand. When the sales guy brought me to the back of the showroom to show me the 5-door version, I was in for a shock - that too costs around 90 grand. Come on! 90 grand? I'd rather buy an SUV with that money!
The next hatchback(s) I got to see were the Ford Focus and Fiesta. Focus starts at around 65 grand while the Fiesta starts at around 55 grand. It was funny. I was only asking for the price and the sales lady there started lecturing me about the safety features. But it was alright with me.
Anyway, the next car I'm going to check out is the Mazda 3 hatchback.
If you guys have any feedback, I'm all ears.

Hmmm...TNT wrote:You'll have the time of your life with the Type R.
Get the Focus then.
Still researching on its reputation though.
But I'm going to check out the Mazda 3 hatchback as well. Hopefully I'll be able to after work tomorrow.
