What do you think about these cars?Accord,camry,altima etc..

ok since our topic about the mazda3 and all the other cars that come in its league is going out of control and off topic i decided to make a new post... I guess everyone has a good idea and opinion about these cars...

However, i was curious to no about the other class of cars, ie. accord,camry,altima,magna etc!!!!

i think this would be a intersting topic to discuss, i would like to hear your opinions about these cars!!!....i have red in other posts about the altima vs lumina ss race!!...it was intersting!!very intersting infact. But what about these cars, if they where to race?? which car would out perform the other??which car has a better drive and feel??which car offers you more luxury and power???...it doesnt matter if you will talk about the V4 or V6 versions..i just want to no what you all think!!

honda accord - 2.4litre engine, 4cylinders, 166hp
- 3.0litre engine, 6cylinders, Dont got the Hp (sorry)

Toyota camry - 2.4litre engine, 4cylinders, 160hp
- 3.0litre engine, 6cylinders, Dont no the HP

Mitsubishi magna - 3.5litre engine, 6cylinders, Dont no the HP

Nissan Altima - 2.5litre engine, 4cylinders, 175HP
- 3.5litre engine, 6cylinders, dont no the hP

Mazda6 - 2.3litre engine, 4cylinders, dont no the HP
- 3.0litre engine, 6cylinders, 220HP

These are the specs i was able to come out with. If anyone has got more information about the specs of these cars please fill them in...Hope to hear more from you guys...Salam

why shouldnt you car about the other cars grayfox...i am sure all the other rides are pulling numbers similiar or higher then that!!....what do you think about the altima 3.5 vs accord v6???...both are fast cars n pull nice numbers!!.....personally i really dont no who is gonna win...maybe the altima might!!

besides speed i do preffer the interior n looks of the accord compared to the altima!!

Well because i own an accord.

Regarding altima vs accord, i guess it will be a close race.Im not really sure but as i remeber altima has only a litlle more power output than accord BUT........altima has 500cc bigger engine hence more torque.I guess GTR-35 could help us with that.

"Bout camry.....i dont know....Its a good family sedan.Unlike accord and altima being the family sedans aswell they have the sporty look,power and etc......And mazda6

Also, i dont like the rear of altima and some interior part.....but the new one looks HOT

your right about the camry being a family car. But have you ever raced a camry grande (V6) ???...bro this car flys like anything..its a rocket on a straight road.its not so good in cutting on all bcoz its butt is to high in the air....iv raced a accord v6 with a camry v6....and the camry won!!..but it was close...if the circumstances where a bit diffrent i am sure the race would have been a tie..

as for the altima...ya it looks nasty from the back..i hate it..but the front isnt that badly designed..it looks sporty n kinda elegant in a way...iv seen a post from a memeber on the site and he was showing of his altima..i was impressed....when it comes to power the altima will smoke all of the cars i have mentioned above...i no numbers matter and all..n so does the wweight of the car....but the engine in the altima 3.5 is the same as the engine in the 350z....the only difference between these 2engines is the 350z is chipped and has some extra goodies that the altima 3.5 doesnt.....now what do you have to say grayfox???...altima or accord??

Just like i said its going to be a close race but for sure altima will take the lead.Dont forget altima has 500cc more than the two others.I suppose camry is the lightest of all three, so power to weight ratio is basically same with accord.Eventhough altima is more powerfull i dont like the interior.In these cars we choose the looks and the interior design and from mid-sized cars i chose accord.

And if Honda made 3.5 litre engine for accord it would be more powerful than nissan,cuz accords 3L engine is tweaked out to the most just like other Honda engines.Both accord and altima looks more elegant from inside and outside but camry....not really

Well lets hope that i will change my accord for V6 when i get cash and i guess we can see.

Im not that experienced in all this stuff.Lets just wait for peeps to come from work and se what they say.

hmmmm....ok well thanks for your insite greyfox....

i have another question...what do you think about the magna...the new one that came out that sorta looks like the lancer from the front...in Qatar they stopped selling it bcoz it's to fast!!! a friend of mine had one (unfortunatly he had a bad accident and his car got cancelled) and guys it was fast.. it would rape every car on the road..i dont no the exact specs of the car but when sitting inside it and driving it you realy feel like your driving a sports car...the way the seaets hold you and the interior design ...its beauitful with power...

have anyone here raced a magna???...i think they can beat all of the cars that iv listed on the topic!!!...what you guys have to say about this?

Honda Vs Nissan - dunno, but Altima is likely

Mazda 6 Vs Accord = Accrod is the winner

Hyundai vs Honda vs Altima = lets wait for our torquey *ahem ahem* H owners to answer this one....

this is my insight:-

accord v6 vs altima v6 = accord

accord v4 vs altima v4 = HAVE NO CLUE...mayb altima

mazda6 vs accord 2.4 = accord

tiburon vs accord 2.4 vs altima 2.5 = ...hmmmmm...i think the tiburon would win....if it was the v6 though....mayb the 4cylinder tiburon would have a tough time...but if they were all 4cylinder i would say mayb mayb the accord!!!..what do you guys think....

however, if they where all v6 then i dont no....mayb the race would be close between altima and the tiburon...remember tiburon is light weight compared to the other 2 cars.....this would be a intersting race!!!

btw what if i put in a magna vrx into the pic....who would win then???....

There's no replacement for displacement... the 3.5, hands down.

I dont think the tib is that much lighters, it tips at 1600kg
