I've heard, I had my cuz over last week, he's from Jeddah. He loves the roads here as they're nice and wide, but says its more fun driving in Saudi due to the lack of cameras, haha. And is it true people jump the red light when no one's looking and the road is empty?

Sharjah used to be the only city in the world with no signals. And eventually all the roundabouts wreaked havoc.

They highways are like double laned and that's the best you'll find. No proper sewage system so their are random 'holes' in the road incase it rains. Lighting system is poor, and their is NO lighting system on the Makkah-Madianh 450km highway!
But, you can cruise along at 180 without worrying about anything 8-)

^Thousands of people die yearly (maybe monthly) on that single highway.

Any police can do anything they want. I find the Sharjah cops to be a lot more polite and lenient than Dubai.

Hi guys
I also got a similar fine LAST WEEK IN Ajman for blue fog lamps . where the cops literally checked all my front lights were having blue lamps or not ??? :S
And he also said that i should remove the blue lamps , put the original back to get the fine cleared :S

They had stopped nearly 25 cars for the same reason and were issuing fines for all cars who had aftermarket blue lamps installed ????? :S
