Sam, let me know if I'm going OT by asking...if it's a Turbo, maintenance costs will be high?! I was looking for a cheap, RWD car which won't be a pain to maintain (that rhymed), but Accord Tuner's fears above are shared by me too.

This car with the same 1JZ engine didn't give any trouble at all regardless of how it was driven (videos included of how 'exactly' it was treated). Just take care of your regular maintenance, some very old engines have weaker turbos that might break over time + a new fuel pump if its really a beaten up one and you're good to go. Nothing costing a little over a grand to replace. Toyotas are, indeed, very reliable.
