So since I have already bought my engine (still not installed btw) I thought I should start a build thread. I am very excited and enthusiastic about this build and just as a warning if you already haven't noticed from the "subject" it is going to be a very slow and painful build. I will try my best to update the thread as I progress through the build.

As of now this is my progress, things that are marked with "[x]" have already been purchased and installed or sitting in the house or in storage.

Engine:
- JDM ITR B18C-R 2000 Spec w/ LSD Hydro Transmission [x]
- Password JDM Penis style intake [x]
- Apexi Worldsport2 exhaust system [x]
- Custom Test Pipe [x]
- JDM 5 Lug Conversion
- Skunk2 Short Shifter

Suspension/Brakes:
- PIC 8 level damping adjustable coilover [x]
- ASR 24mm Swaybar & Reinforcement Kit [x]
- Megan Lower Control Arm [x]
- SIR 4 disk Slotted brakes [x]
- Hawk break Pads [x]
- Goodridge Steel braided brake lines [x]
- CTR 99-00 5 Spoke Rims

Interior:
- CTR Red Carpet
- CTR Red Mats
- ITR Red Recaro Seats [x]
- CTR Doors w/ red inside panels
- CTR JDM Gauge Cluster
- ITR Momo Steering wheel [x]
- CTR Black w/ red stitching shift boo

Exterior:
- SIR front end conversion
- CTR Rear spoiler
- CTR Rear lip
- PAINT JOB..LIKE ASAP :P

ICE:
- Rockfard Fosgate P2 500RMS woofer [x]
- Rockfard Fosgate 325RMS amp [x]
- Bassworks ported enclosure [x]
- Monster cabling [x]

So as you can see, I have really thought through all of this and set my goals accordingly. If you see any inconsistency in my mod list by confusing CTR with ITR then my bad, for me it's the same shit :P ...If any of you have any advise and tips for me I would really like to hear them.

As for the engine, it is sitting in storage and will be installed once I receive my OEM gaskets and extra parts I ordered so I can have a "piece of mind" with the swap. I am also saving for the 5 lug conversion, Rims & a new clutch. So once I get all this stuff I will do the swap so I can save ALOT, and I mean ALOT of money on the swap cost.

Now on to the pics - I have three pics which I found in my iphone so you can enjoy them for now...Tomorrow I will be putting up the pics of the ITR Recaro's and ITR Momo steering wheel...SO EXCITED :D .....

ENJOY:

Todays Updates: May 20th, 2009
*------------------------------------*

So I went to get my seats from the JDM warehouse (thats what I call it) and ended up having couple of disappointments. So I got my Red Recaro's Installed but wasn't able to get the Momo Steering because they couldn't find me a HUB for it :( ...I also learnt that my engine is not 98 Spec, but a JDM 2000 spec. Apparently the new guy at the JDM Warehouse couldn't tell the difference between the 98 and 2000 model. But lucky for me the owner who's Japanese and his name is Kareem (wtf) explained and showed me all the markings to make sure I know its JDM and a 2000 model engine :) ....so now onto the pics :)

Image
The seats are in pretty good condition - I give it a 8/10 but it definitely needs some elbow grease to clean up some inperfections.

So this is my B18C-R 2000 Spec. Why I say "R" is because my Japanese friend told me to stop calling it a B18c5 - apparently thats the USDM version and the JDM version is a B18C-R. The 1st thing to notice is the "spark plug cover". If it's a 98+ spec the cover should be a grayish color like mine.
For the guys that want to make sure they have a 98+ spec engine I took some pics off my engine so you can spot if its a JDM or USDM, and what year it is.
Image
The 1st circle with the "0|0" means its a 2000 model. If it says "9|8" then its a 1998 model.
Image
The JDM B18C-R doesn't have anything stamped after the "B18C"..The USDM version is stamped as "B18C5" at the end.
Image
Thats the barcode on my LSD Transmission. My Japanese friend says if it says "S80-31" in the beginning then it's JDM.

Thats some bird poop I can't get off my bonnet :P ...its literally STUCK on to it :(

lot of brand out there and lot to choose

prices are not much difference

but will recommend exedy type-s (means street) single plate or the cere-metallic
though type-r (racing) will give you more kick, but very hard on daily drive and last shorter, but still up to you

you might want to look your flywheel

Thanks for the kind words VTi and Accord. I will try to update this thread as I get in new parts etc etc.
As for rims, I am happy you liked them accord, I think they came of a Prelude.....
I am still debating over 5 lug or sticking to what I got. My Current SiR/GSR brake setup is 4x100 so all the rims I like don't fit :( .....But I really want to get a set of these...CPR's FTMFW:

^^Eleanor if you look at the 2nd picture, the hub cap looks like it has the Rota emblem.

Rota has almost identicle knock-offs of the white CPR's I posted above...They are called the "Rota - track R". A used pair of CPR's run you $1600-2000 for the set!!
