What exactly happened at the last track day with the red TT 350Z? Are you in contact with the driver? No one has heard from him from the day on.albertho555 wrote:Sam > Yeah if one has a reliable car, nothing like doing a full day !!! Seat time cannot be compared to $$$ paid for it ... its priceless
@ Exquisite - trackday is not a racing - but you can do that on karting (cheaper)
most of the time they divided the group into newbie (sometimes need instructor / sometimes not) & experience.
remember that you are there to enjoy the track and your car, maximize it - as some does'nt even finished the first session
@ sam just to add, 900 aed in DA is run in an international/GP(sometime) circuit is a open cicuit from 9:00-12:00 noon so its almost 3 hours of running time plus they open it for another extra session if there some more time - so almost desame, minus the travel to auha
btw in DA each session is divided into 3 session of 20 minutes each = to 1 hour of driving, with 20 minutes interval each run.
i have invited some auto-x friends and friends to experince trackday and now are more regular than me hehehe

@ kenny, trackday is different in actual racing
Its really up to you on how you maximize your car with the fun factor, thus no timing is allowed so not that pressure unlike in real racing, so brakes and tires are really depend on your driving style
i just run last feb and march trackday in DA and planning to do next month (atleast if budget permitted) with my last year tires & brakes, though i regulary flush the all the fluids in between (engine oil, brake, clutch & tranny) and so far so good as my daily drive as well
believe me kenny that 1 hour of total driving is really fun tha auto-x
