i got logged out 2 times again today after quite a long time . wonder where the problem lies..
oh how nice i got logged out the 3rd time after posting this ..

yes i did edit that post and i did it in the same minute or so thats why it hasn't shown that it is edited . it shows post is editted wen u edit the post after in a matter of 10 or more minutes i guess. i have done this editing in posts quickly before in other posts in the same minute after i submitted it, it doesnt show post edited that time.

This is just not working for me... getting logged out is starting to get to me... it cant be our browser as I have had the same issue at work, home & mates computers...

what i figured out is that we get logged out after viewing or while we browse a thread which contains an attached file .

It is basically because the script checks if you are logged in and should show the attachment or not. That is when you are actually logged out.
It's very unusual that I for one am not facing this problem from any system I may use to access the board.
