Sweet, a car parade, now that's something worth watching!
I saw your car there neo, but did not see you thereNeo wrote:LOL!!! runner up... if you look in that sense there should be classification for the competition.Ozimandius wrote:It seems I didn't miss much, no one has anything NICE to say about this event!
Neo, you were almost there, did you get the runners up position?
Like sedan class and SuV class. Coz due to cabin gain the same system inside a sedan will sound louder in an SUV or vice versa. Depends on the vehicle.
So I shouldnt even be in that category.
But my point is, with a score of 130db i didnt want anything.
Its like a taking a 500 hp car and hoping to hit 550 at the dyno. Instead doing like 300.
It was never about winning I wanted to hit 140+ and i failed.
Too bad, you should have asked them about the test cd that they will use for the event. But honestly at your current setup i doubt it will give you 140db coz your box is still tuned low...but if you tuned it high around 40-45Hz you might have hit higher...
Did the sound-off organizers included their rides in the contest? How are their score?
Anyway, still congrats and more power!

You are right on the part of my box tuning being low, but this time i had tried to balance it in between deep bass and spl.. We will have another thread to that. I need to get something right and need your input. The 2loud competition might be around the corner. The box tuning is around 40hz. But if i wanted spl i shud i have tried 50 -70 hz range.. but then it will sound crap.. and cant be used a normal daily driven car.sr20det wrote:I saw your car there neo, but did not see you thereNeo wrote:LOL!!! runner up... if you look in that sense there should be classification for the competition.Ozimandius wrote:It seems I didn't miss much, no one has anything NICE to say about this event!
