maybe im a cheapo & thats why i've been with skunk2 for 5 years now with no real issues and hasn't let me down :)

Once again, i think all the above companies have a lot of experience and done a lot of R&D behind their products. If i was asked that question, i'll say all of the above ;) It just depends what you want the cams for & what your budget is.

hmmm...I've done some research on this and my input would be useful here I guess.

Toda "VTEC Killers" are awesome cams only if you don't want to keep your VTEC. They give huge gains through-out the RPM range BUT are very hard to tune. You will be spending loads of cash on tuning, dyno time to get them idling right. You might also need to bump up your injectors and fuel pump as well. Also note Toda is out of business as well..acquiring support and new parts might be tuff now.

Spoon are good as well, but very mild cams. Infact the b18c type-r cams are more aggressive then the spoon ones. Tuning them is very easy

Skunk2 and BC are the best bang for the buck I guess. BC are cheaper but in the honda world skunk2 is leading on b-series engines. I am also looking into getting some S2S2 cams for my type-r. the s2s2 give awesome low end and top end power (exactly what you need in any b-series engine, especially down low.)Tuning isn't as hard either, but depending on your requirements most tuners would suggest bumping upyour injectors and getting a after market fuel pump. Some ppl may say it's not required but that totally depends on which route you want to go.

other then that you should have your basic bolt-ons and you should be set

spoon and toda are expensive
skunk2 and bc are cheaper but will work same if you got a tune-able ecu and a good tuner :D

without it its pretty much useless :D :D

ive use spoon cam & gear on my ex-b18c R minimal gain but good enough if you dont have a tune-able ecu

toda, skunk2, bc have different stage from 1-3/4 or a-c
stage 1 or c for toda are minimal gain and sometimes dont need that a build internal
stage 2 or b for toda need atleast a good retainer(titinuim/cromoly)
stage 3 or a for toda need both retainer and spring (build)

the higher cam profile the higher you need a good internals and tuning and those specs on the car it might not give you an easy way on passing in RTA as its sounds unbelievable :D

b16 a internal are weak for an after-market cams (long use)\
might work for a month :D
