Good Quality Tints
Moderator:Neo
Hello everyone, I am looking to apply tints for my new car. My either options are 3M or Nanolux. Which is better? and which one is costly 3M or Nanolux. I am interested in going for v-kool or solar gard but my company refuses to pay for both , they only pay for 3M or Nanolux. So which should I go for?
Nanolux comes with every mitsu now days as the dealer offers the customers to put nanolux tint in their car. Nanolux is kinda purplish tint & its a little too light for a tint. 3M is more over a proper black shade , it will make you feel like you have your car tinted atleast unlike nanolux. Got 3M in my dads lexus 6 years back and its still perfect!
From what i have seen i would say go with 3M any day!
Cheers!

Reminds me of what someone at 3M once said...3M stands for Make More Money. Haha.
Excellent tints though. Well worth the money. Have had mine for 4 years and counting, not one issue.

3M - Had it for three years now, the Crystalline stuff, no problems at all and I immediately noticed the temperature drop of a few degrees in the car. It's really expensive at like AED3500 which is like the tenth of the value of my car! But you can keep your arm rested on the door and it doesn't get singed. It saves your interior too, mine still looks new, but unfortunately I didn't get the windscreen tinted - to stay legal - so I have to use the shades...

It is illegal even if you put clear tint (on the front windshield)! Trust me! I know!

Too %#%$ bad, considering the wankers on the road with 50%+ tint, and some morons drive with the sunshade in the front.
The crystalline stuff is very expensive, i am thinking to go for the one with 5 years warranty. I got a quote of AED 950 (without front clear film+AED 500) for my suv, a well decent price.Fahrer wrote:3M - Had it for three years now, the Crystalline stuff, no problems at all and I immediately noticed the temperature drop of a few degrees in the car. Well I have front clear tint on two cars for over two years now, been to tasjeel twice, no issues.Matt wrote:the cops will fine you for the clear tint, read loads of stories about it at Tasjeel and with cops just pulling people over

If its clear tint, how does cop or anyone in the world even know that you have a tint on your front windshield? Its called clear for a reason man. Had it on my dads car for quiet a long time but removed it as it got scratched after sometime as it was done from outside and was not 3M tint. Never got pulled over for tinting issues.
