Cruising along the roads of Dubai, Mitsubishi’s are a familiar sight. Found, just about on every street and corner, their economic pricing, small underpowered and efficient engines with trustworthy Japanese reliability, put to rest the concerns of the ‘average consumer’. The Lancer Evolution VI Tommi Makinen Edition. Mostly known in the street as the Evo 6.5. This, is a beast. Just knowing that it is a 6.5 you would expect more than what you would expect from most other performance car. It is an Evo worthy of lining up with the best of the Japanese supercars.

Pouncing out with a pure racing look, Ryan Ambrose (from England) brings us his 6.5: Carbon front and back end with a spicy Kniversand Custom paint job. With the “love it or hate it” rear performance carbon wing, you would expect nothing less of pure power from this packed Evo. Similar headlights and taillights, often confuse the ordinary person in thinking that this Evo is just like any other lancer. However, the similarities stop there. The blacked out, multi spoked O.Z Racing rims, that reveal a glimpse of the four wheel disc Brembo brakes, ensure that its got the right legs to run the right power. The large front bumper, with an even larger air dam, gives us a clear view of the front mounted intercooler. The air vents on the side bumper and on the front carbon fiber hood, ensure cool air in the engine and only add to the aggressive stance that tells all - “Get out of my way!”.

Down under, Performance brands marked in all direction, you’d expect nothing less of an outrageous performance car. Alone at stock, the Evo puts out over 280hp. This baby will leave you standing still with its HKS upgraded fuel system. Upped boost, intake, exhausted system, intercooler and clutch system. With brands such as Ralliart, HKS, Greddy, Trust, Bullet and more shows the pure quality in this performance car. One thing I would point out (That most of you wouldn’t even spot!) that it has Ralliart Front and Rear Diffs. If Mitsi weren’t crazy enough about making their cars launch the best! This guy makes things worse. Expect nothing but a killer launch at the quatermile with this baby. All adding to the 330hp street and drag machine! Yet to see results from the strip we would expect nothing higher than early/mid 12-second car.

In the interior department. A full matching leather red and black trim with racing gauges, Momo pedals and steering wheel to keep you in the racing mood.

Blowing-your-ears comes a full sound system including a Soundstream 1200watt amp and capacitor blowing 2 Rockford Fosgate subwoofers! Also filled with bits and pieces to make your eardrums bleed faster than you have ever wanted!
